Kyra
is a Harrow based gospel choir located in London. We were formerly known
as the Harrow Gospel choir. We started off with 3 members approximately
ten years ago and over this period we have seen the membership increase
to 25.
Our
singing ministry has led to us performing both locally and nationally:
Crawley, Ealing Edmonton, Luton, Aldershot, Sheffield, Southampton and
Woolwich are just a few of the numerous places where we have ministered.
We have also performed at various functions and venues: Gospel concerts,
weddings, senior citizens homes, shopping centres, galas, universities,
borough festivals, hotels, restaurants and train stations. We have also
accepted appointments from Special needs groups and have performed at
festival celebrations in Holland.
Kyra
has a dynamic, exuberant and thriving singing ministry which is shared
with members of the public on a regular basis. We are a multifarious
group of people who interact well together despite our age range from
16 - 35. The choir director, Jennifer Stewart, is a passionate, confident
and committed young lady who has been an inspiration to the choir since
it begun. She conducts the choir explosively which is quite surreal.

the last two years Kyra's band, comprising drummer, bass guitarist,
rhythm guitarist, organist, keyboardist and percussionist has been formed
and have enhanced our performances. This choir seeks to shake the music
industry worldwide with it's unique blend of harmonious sounds and has
a belief that given time and resources this will be achieved.
